Composite Cooling Solutions (CCS) is a cooling tower solutions provider specializing in the design and construction of custom field-erected fiberglass (FRP) and concrete cooling towers in both counterflow and crossflow configurations. CCS serves markets for commercial and institutional HVAC, power generation, and industrial cooling.

While CCS was officially formed in 2004, our corporate DNA and innovation dates back over half a century when our founding partners managed Ceramic Cooling Tower Company (CCT). From the introduction of the first fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) tower to the first FM Approved field-erected FRP tower, CCS leaders revolutionized the cooling tower industry. Today CCS continues to research and develop new and better methods for cooling tower design and construction.

More Fiberglass and FM Experience

The average CCS employee has one to two decades of cooling tower industry experience, with over a century-and-a-half of cooling tower industry experience represented by CCS' executives alone.

CCS has more fiberglass and concrete cooling tower experience than anyone in the industry. In the 1980s, our founders developed the industry's first FRP and FRP composite pultruded tower structure. They engineered and designed numerous concrete towers that are still in service today after decades of operation. CCS is the FM Approved field-erected cooling tower industry leader, with more FM Approved field-erected cooling towers installed than all other manufacturers combined.

Cooling Technology Institute

CCS executives hold leadership roles in the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI), and have done so for decades. This includes two past CTI presidents, one past vice-president, and multiple committee chair positions. CCS executives have authored a number of CTI published works.

CCS Innovation

Fifteen cooling tower patents have been authored by CCS executives and engineers. US Patent 7,275,734 is our landmark patent covering the FRP structure and connections utilized in our Phoenix® counterflow and 3000 XLF™ and Titan™ crossflow cooling towers. US Patent 8,602,397 is our most recent patent, covering our innovative crossflow hot water distribution system.

Composite Cooling Solutions' cooling towers (or parts thereof) are covered and protected by one or more of the following United States Patents (and other pending US patent applications): U.S. Patent No. 7,257,734, U.S. Patent No. 7,607,646, U.S. Patent No. 7,997,562, U.S. Patent No. 8,376,323, U.S. Patent No. 8,602,397
